The Public Library of Brookline Station Reservation Policy Summary

Making Reservations

1. Individual reservations can be no shorter than 10 minutes and no longer than 15 minutes in length.
2. Every 13 hours , patrons are allowed a maximum of 99 reservations and a maximum of 4 days 4 hours of cumulative usage.
   
3. Reservations can be placed a maxiumum of 4 days in advance.
   
4. Patrons are allowed to make 99 reservations for dates in the future.
   

Reservation Cancellation

1. A reservation can be cancelled at any time prior to the start of your reserved time.
   Cancellation is done on the same page you view your reservations.
2. A reservation must be claimed within 5 minutes after the reserved time starts.
   Otherwise it will be considered a "no-show violation" and you may incur penalties.

"No-Show" Penalties

1. A penalty of 5 minutes will be deducted from the 4 days 4 hours per 13 hours given to you over the period of 5 days . That is, beginning at the time of the no-show reservation and effective for the following 5 days , the total time available to you per 13 hours period will be further reduced by 5 minutes.
2. Patrons with more than 99 no-show reservations will be blocked for the next 5 days from:
   • walking up and using a computer
   • making further reservations
